Minute 6/7/19 HOA Election Meeting
6:01 Meeting started
1. Troy Nelson (HOA Board president) welcomed the attendees and went through the updates:
a. Collection of Dues: Uncollected 34 homes (explained how the 4 board members will directly talk to pending homeowners and identify the issues and collect dues) and reimbursement to neighbors who paid more or had a credit from previous years.
b. Liens: Once we collect the pending 10% of unpaid dues, we will review case by case to add a lien to each home. We explained how this process works even when it takes time. We collected a lien and legal fees this year from a home that was sold.
c. Cameras – there is one camera down and getting fixed. The vendor has been working on the replacement. Dick Stewart is the one who is tracking the footage. (somebody recommending infra-red cameras, somebody recommended put cameras in McClellan entrance, review warranty)
d. Ice Cream Social – Participation was low but overall attendees enjoyed the family friendly event; planning a second event in the fall.
2. Election for current board, open seat and the budget didn’t meet the required quorum (15% of the homes/ 46 homes) We had 15 homeowners and 21 proxies and couldn’t complete a vote. We will schedule a 2nd meeting and the vote will take place with the attendees as per stated in the bylaws.
3. We had one volunteer for the open seat: Stan Bone, whom we’ll add to the next meeting’s election ballot.
